FAQ

What do people ask before joining Build It Once?

Everything below is the same answer you'd get on a call, written down. Four groups: cost and terms, the program itself, who it's for, and logistics. If your question isn't here, the contact page reaches a real person.

What does Build It Once cost, and what are the terms?

Build It Once membership costs $1,950 a month for twelve months, $23,400 in total. There's no deposit, no early exit, and no auto-renew: the term ends at month twelve and you leave owning the system. Everything listed on the pricing page is inside that number; your ad budget, legal, and tax work are not.

What does membership cost?

$1,950 a month for twelve months ($23,400 total), with no deposit. The full breakdown, including what's deliberately not in the price, is on the pricing page.

Can I leave early?

The commitment is twelve months, and there's no early exit. That's deliberate: the program builds one complete system across a planned year, not a month-to-month service you dip in and out of. If the commitment feels heavy, that's worth an honest conversation before you join, not after.

What happens at month twelve?

You graduate. The website, brand, marketing plan, business plan, books, and AI assistant are yours; you own them and run them without us. There's no auto-renew and no pressure to stay. Ongoing support after graduation is optional, and we'll talk about it near the end if you want it.

Do you guarantee results?

No. Nobody can honestly promise what your revenue will do, and we won't. What we commit to is the work itself: the system gets built, the coaching happens on schedule, and you own everything at the end. Whether it pays off depends on your market, your prices, and how you use it.

What happens if it doesn't work?

Nobody can promise what your revenue will do, and we don't. Qualified leads are different: in month one we agree a written target, specific to your business and your market, and it goes into your agreement along with what happens if we don't hit it. You read both before you sign anything.

Are there other costs I should plan for?

Yes, and it's better to know now. Your advertising budget is yours (we build the plan, you fund the media), and legal work, tax filing, and year-end accounting stay with your lawyer and accountant. Bookkeeping is included; a tax return is not. The full not-included list is on the pricing page.

How does the program actually work?

Over twelve months, we build your marketing and sales system with you: website, SEO, branding, marketing plan, business plan, sales training, coaching, bookkeeping, and a custom AI assistant. The working cadence is a bi-weekly group session, a monthly one-on-one, and a quarterly review against your own scoreboard.

Marketing needs constant work. You can't build it once.

You're right. Running marketing is ongoing work: publishing, following up, adjusting what underperforms. That part never ends, and much of the twelve months is spent teaching you to run it yourself. Building the system is different. A website, a brand, a plan, and a sales process get built once. Most people pour the foundation two or three times because the first pour was cheap. This pours it properly once.

Who actually builds the website?

Our web partner builds it and runs the ongoing SEO, starting in month one. You're not handed a template and a tutorial; it's built around your offer, and it's yours at graduation. What that includes is itemized on the what's included page.

Is bookkeeping really included?

Yes. Bookkeeping runs for all twelve months, so your books stay current instead of piling up into a year-end scramble. Two honest limits: it's bookkeeping, not a tax return, and year-end accounting and tax filing stay with your accountant.

What is the custom AI assistant?

An AI assistant set up with your own business context files (services, prices, processes, plans), so it answers like something that knows your business rather than a generic chatbot. We build it in month one and teach you to run it and keep it current.

What does the coaching look like?

Mark Frentz runs it himself: a group session every two weeks, a one-on-one every month, and a quarterly review where results get compared against your own scoreboard (the one defined together in month one). It's operating coaching, not motivational content. More on Mark is on the about page.

How much of my time will it take?

Plan for the bi-weekly group session, the monthly one-on-one, the quarterly review, and real homework between them (decisions, content, your own sales conversations). If you can't commit to that cadence, this isn't your year for it; the program only works with you in the room.

Who is Build It Once for?

Build It Once is for solo service business owners who already know what they sell, who they sell it to, and what they charge. Revenue stage matters less than that clarity: some members will be one to three years in, others launching properly from day one. The full fit test is on the who it's for page.

What if I don't know what I'm selling yet?

Then Build It Once isn't the right next step, and joining anyway would waste your money. Deciding your offer, your market, and your prices is founding work, and it comes first; the program builds marketing on top of something already settled. The full fit test is on the who it's for page.

I'm just starting out. Is it too early?

Not necessarily. The screen isn't revenue, it's clarity. If you're launching with a skill you proved inside someone else's business, a market you know, and settled pricing, building properly now beats repairing later. If the business itself is still undecided, that's a different conversation, and we'll say so.

My problem is too much work, not too few leads. Will this help?

Probably not, and better to say it now: the program builds a system that produces leads and sales conversations. If your constraint is capacity, more leads just make the queue longer. Fix delivery first (pricing, scope, help), and a marketing system becomes worth building afterward.

When does Build It Once open, and how do you start?

Build It Once opens August 17, 2026 at Unit B 1827 Albert Street in Regina (The Metro building). The peer group stays small, and admission happens one member at a time. The fastest way to start is a conversation; the contact page has the form, phone, and email.

When does Build It Once open?

August 17, 2026. Conversations are open now, and admission runs one member at a time, so the practical answer is: the earlier you talk to us, the more choice you'll have about timing.

How many members are there?

Small by design. Admission runs one member at a time, and the peer community is meant to stay at a size where members actually know each other's businesses. The doors open August 17, 2026, so the first cohort is forming now.

Where exactly is it?

Unit B 1827 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4P 2S9, inside The Metro (a mixed-use building on Albert Street that Mark owns and operates). The contact page has a map.

How do I start?

Book a conversation: call 306-700-5121, email info@builditonce.ca, or use the form on the contact page. If you'd rather look around first, watch the presentation or register for the Kickstart Roadmap; both exist so you can evaluate us before a call.

Want to talk it through before you decide?

A conversation is the fastest way to find out whether Build It Once fits the business you're building. It's a real call with a real person, not a pitch you have to sit through. If you'd rather look around before you talk to anyone, the free presentation is the place to start.
