What's included
Ten pieces, one membership, one price
Everything on this page is inside the $1,950 a month, for all twelve months. There are no tiers and no add-ons to buy. Here's what each piece actually is, and what you walk away owning.
Website build plus ongoing SEO
Our web partner builds you a proper website (structure, copy, and search foundations, not a template with your logo dropped in) and then works on its SEO for the rest of the year. It starts in month one, goes live by month three, and it's yours at graduation.
Ongoing means ongoing: search visibility is slow, cumulative work, and the reason it stays in the membership for the full term is that the compounding happens after launch, not at it. You'll see what's being done and why, so you can keep it running (or hire it out knowledgeably) in year two. The month-by-month schedule sits on the how it works page.
Branding and visual identity
You get a brand built to match the prices you intend to charge: logo, colours, type, and the usage basics, applied consistently across the website, your documents, and your marketing. The goal is simple: when a $10,000 client looks you up, nothing about the presentation argues against the quote.
A marketing plan
Not a strategy deck that dies in a drawer: a working plan for what runs where (search, social, local visibility, referral systems), saying what, to whom, on what budget. The program schedules it: built in month one, rolled out through the first phase, tuned quarterly against your scoreboard.
One boundary worth knowing before you join: we build and run the plan with you, and the media budget is yours. If the plan calls for $500 a month of local ads, that $500 is your spend, decided with you, not a hidden extra inside the membership.
A business plan
In month one we write the business plan with you: the offer, the numbers that have to be true (pricing, capacity, cost of delivery), and the targets the year gets measured against. It becomes your scoreboard; every quarterly review checks reality against it, not against generic benchmarks.
Sales training
Marketing creates conversations; sales training is what keeps them from being wasted. Starting in the launch phase, you learn to run discovery calls, quote with a straight face, follow up without nagging, and close without theatrics. Then you apply it on live prospects while the coaching is right there.
One thing this is not: us selling for you. You'll run your own sales conversations from the first month to the last, because at month twelve the person who has to be good at them is you.
Business coaching
Mark runs the coaching himself, on a fixed cadence for all twelve months: a group session every two weeks, a one-on-one every month, and a quarterly review against your own scoreboard. It's operating coaching (pricing calls, hiring questions, what to stop doing), not motivational content.
Who Mark is, and why a former therapist runs coaching this way, is on the about page.
Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping is included for the full term: transactions categorized, books kept current, and numbers you can actually read before each quarterly review. Two honest limits: it's bookkeeping, not tax filing or year-end accounting (your accountant keeps that), and it works best when you stop avoiding the numbers.
A custom AI assistant
Every member gets an AI assistant set up with their own business context files: services, pricing, processes, plans, and the way you talk to customers. Ask it to draft a quote email or a service page and it answers like something that knows your business, not a generic chatbot.
We build it in month one, while the business plan and brand work are producing exactly the context files it needs, and we teach you to use it and keep it current. Almost nobody else in this market offers it, which is why it's worth explaining this plainly.
A small peer community
The peer community is a small group of other solo owners at a similar stage, meeting every two weeks, who know your business well enough to be useful. Most solo operators have nobody like that to ask, and it shows up in every stalled decision. This is the fix: colleagues, on purpose.
In the bi-weekly group session, the same handful of owners see your numbers, hear what you're stuck on, and tell you what happened when they tried it. That's the difference between checking an idea against colleagues and checking it against a search bar. The group stays deliberately small (admission runs one member at a time), so the people around the table actually know your business.
What all ten pieces cost together, and what's deliberately not in the price, is on the pricing page.
Want to see the numbers in person?
The Kickstart Roadmap is a live session that walks through what a service business actually costs to set up properly in the first year, and what order to do the work in. It runs monthly, in person, at Build It Once. If you already know you want to talk, book a conversation instead.
